Annual John McGuire Memorial Tournament



Proceeds benefit the John Michael McGuire Memorial Fund. This is a non-profit fund established in 2015 in Memory of John McGuire a 2015 Ben Davis High School Alumnus. He was a Freshman at the University of Indianapolis and had just began classes as a pre-athletic training major. John's ambition was to further his education by enrolling in UIndy's DPT Program. John's life tragically ended on October 11, 2015 from the injuries sustained in an automobile accident. John was an amazing person who touched the lives of all who knew him. He was an excellent student who earned many academic awards. John also had a passion for baseball and majority of his time was spent on the fields pursuing his love for the game. For John there was nothing better than the smell of spring air, the crack of the bat, and the pop of the glove. The fund was created by John's parents who since 2016 have provided several Ben Davis High School Seniors with scholarships.
