2025 Spring Rec Baseball

**The board has decided to make changes to the divisions as the focus is shifting on development and growth at the younger ages to help ensure they are ready to advance to the next level of play in divisions throughout their Ben Davis Little League Journey.

Below you will find breakdown of our divisions within our league including age ranges.

Divisions by league age Baseball:

Tball- 4-5yrs old
Rookie (Coach Pitch)- 6-7yrs old
Rookie-Minor (1/2 coach & 1/2 kid pitch)- 8-9yrs old
Minors- (kid pitch)- 10-11yrs old
Majors- (Kid Pitch) 11-12yrs old

Divisions by league age Softball:

Rookie- 7-8yr olds
Minors- 9-10yr olds
Majors- 11-12yrs old

**IMPORTANT- For the safety and development of all the players, please be aware that your player may be moved up or down in divisions depending on the evaluation of the player.

Here is some additional information to help you along your way while you complete your registration.

T-Mobile Grant:

If you plan to apply for the T-Mobile grant, please select pay by check. Once you have been approved, you will be sent an electronic visa card. Afterwards, you will then log back into your Sports Connect account and switch your pay method to credit to pay your balance on your account. This grant becomes available usually in January and goes very quickly. It is highly encouraged that you apply as soon as it becomes available.

Sports Matter by Dicks Sporting Goods:

If you plan to apply for the Sports Matter grant, please select pay by check. Once you have been approved, you will be sent an electronic visa card. Afterwards, you will then log back into your Sports Connect account and switch your pay method to credit to pay your balance on your account. Once we have information when this opens, we will inform families.

Important Boundary Information:

Because BDLL is a chartered Little League, we are bound to Little League boundary guidelines. In order to play on BDLL teams, players must live within BDLL boundaries. However, IF you live outside of the boundaries and still wish to play with BDLL, please contact us as there are other methods that we can choose to help you that Little League has available (waivers are possible).

Residence within BDLL boundaries is established one of two ways:

The player's parents live together and reside within BDLL boundaries,

One of the player's parents (or legal guardian) resides within BDLL boundaries.

Before continuing this application, please verify your player meets the residence requirement. The boundary map can be seen here. If we determine that the player does not meet the residence requirement to play at BDLL, we will refund the registration cost but CANNOT refund the Online Registration Fee.
